Diversity, Equity and Inclusion underpins Per Ardua’s culture, purpose and relationships.

 

We believe DE&I is the foundation of a positive working environment. We recognise that representation in organisations, especially at senior levels, still falls short of reflecting society. A diverse workforce improves decision-making, deepens customer understanding and strengthens competitive advantage. We may not have all the answers, but we ask the right questions.

 

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee sets and reviews the measures by which we hold ourselves to account. Across the firm, we train, learn and build awareness of diversity in all its forms through topical discussions, celebrations and educational content.

 

We recognise that affirmative action is needed to improve the representation and inclusion of diverse talent across future leader, executive, Board and NED roles. We track our performance against a range of criteria and have seen positive progress.

We build long-term client relationships, enabling us to take a strategic view of DE&I and challenge where needed to help attract and retain diverse talent. We embed diversity throughout our process to maximise the opportunity for a diverse appointment. As such, we will:

 

  • Use our internal diverse talent tracking to identify known candidates.
  • Proactively use our networks to find additional diverse talent and broaden access to relevant communities.
  • Tailor our candidate approach to individual motivations and use inclusive language to engage passive talent.
  • Partner with you closely and challenge where needed to deliver a diverse shortlist.
  • Include DE&I summaries in our documentation and maintain process transparency.
  • Avoid generalisations and advise across the full spectrum of diversity in our specialist market.
  • Work across Per Ardua and Pantheon Leadership to identify diverse talent and support their success.
