This Economist article corroborates our view as a specialist Board-level executive search firm, that LinkedIn is too public when it comes to hiring the upper echelons of the executive suites, and moreover, these executives’ skills are too nuanced and qualities too subtle to be adequately conveyed in a commoditised, LinkedIn profile.
As we previously maintained, firms will need to be vigilant and always mindful of adapting to industry changes, but as it stands, the headhunting industry has enjoyed strong revenues and we ourselves are experiencing one of our busiest years.
