Per Ardua Associates’ 2014 Chairman survey is follow up to research we carried out in 2010 of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 Boards, discussing the changing relationship between the Chairman and his / her CEO.
This time around we interviewed Chairmen of FTSE 350 companies and their subsidiaries. The concept behind this second Chairman survey was to ascertain how the relationship between the CEO and Chairmen has altered over this time (if at all), what has impacted that relationship (e.g. governance issues, reward and succession etc.) and how Boards are operating now. For commentary on our findings please see our mention in The Sunday Times,
